Speaker: Joe Fuqua, Managing Director of CC Pace Systems, Inc

Bio: Joe is a seasoned technologist and data scientist, and has served as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Data Scientist for both product and service-based companies.  Joe works closely with large and small organizations to better leverage information assets, drive insights and innovation, and achieve operational excellence. His specific areas of expertise include analytics & information strategy, neural networks & machine learning, blockchain & smart contracts, collaboration & social learning.

Joe was an early contributor (during the 1980's) in practical use of artificial intelligence, leading research in symbolic/expert systems and neural networks.  In addition, he led advancements in multi-sensor integration and predictive modeling using Kalman filtering now commonly used in auto-navigation applications.

He is a recognized, published thought leader in convergence of emerging technologies, and speaks at conferences regarding joint application of artificial intelligence, blockchain, and other technologies to address specific challenges in Healthcare, Financial Services and Logistics.
