Evan Rowell, Security Principal, Charlotte, NC:

Evan comes to Insight with over 10 years of information security experience and almost 20 years of technology experience.  Most recently, he served as National Manager of Security Consulting and Sr. Security Consultant with nGuard.  Additionally, he has worked as Research Operations Manager and has participated in sensitive government sponsored research projects at a major University.

Evan has experience in the security industry ranging from testing to security audits and GRC alignments.  His technical skills include network, application, and wireless penetration testing, data loss prevention, incident response, etc.  He also has many years’ experience scoping security engagements and making consultative recommendations around common business security practice needs.

Matt Darlington, Senior Architect, Raleigh, NC:

Matt is a US Army veteran with 28 years of IT experience.  He has held post-sales support roles, as well as services delivery, sales engineering, and architecture.   He worked at Citrix, where he was a sales engineer and helped bring their VDI solutions to the market.  After leaving Citrix, Matt started and sold two consulting companies primarily focused on the desktop, application, and user virtualization space.  In between his two startups, Matt was also the World Wide VDI/EUC Architect Lead for IBM and later Lenovo.

Tom Hearn, Engineering Manager for the Southeast, Raleigh, NC:

Tom supports NC, SC, TN, AL, GA and FL with a large team of pre-sales architects in a plethora of subject matter expertise.  His background started in Software Development, Security and Cloud and over the years he has moved into Infrastructure and Automation.  He previously held technical management positions for companies in the Banking, Rail Transportation and Clinical Research spaces.  He has a large amount of systems architecture and design and still stays actively engaged technically with the team.
