About the speaker: 

Dee Williams is a Senior Software Engineer with a career focus in data engineering and analytics. She is well versed in, and passionate about, the transformation and visualization of data to drive intelligent business decisions. Her industry experience includes retail, finance administration, transportation, and packaging. Alongside career passions, Dee is a partner of Better Business Intelligence Group, with a mission to increase racial diversification within the field of Information Technology (IT). Dee is also the Executive Director of Project STEMulus, a budding program which seeks to close the gap of minority representation in IT through technical skills training for youth. Dee resides in Charlotte, NC with her 10-year-old daughter and 4-month-old pocket bully. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and creative writing.
